Ontario Home Ownership Savings Plan (OHOSP)
On May 18, 2004 the Government of Ontario terminated the
Ontario Home Ownership Savings Plan (OHOSP) program.
This
program had provided a refundable tax credit to help
individuals and couples (married or in common-law
partnerships) save toward the purchase of a first home.
At the time of termination, the government issued a
Bulletin, explaining the changes and providing more details
on the program cancellation.
